Splicing

Armaci provides rope splicing and running rigging services in Phuket for cruising yachts, racing yachts and multihulls. We prepare lines and terminations to match the application, rope construction and your yacht’s hardware.

Splicing for yacht and marine lines

Our splicing work covers halyards, sheets, high-tech lines, Dyneema lines, soft shackles, mooring lines, dock lines, anchor lines and tow lines. We select the splice and termination arrangement to suit the rope material, construction and intended use.

Certified lines and stocked rope

We offer certified lines and keep a range of lines in stock. We can help select rope for strength, stretch, handling, wear resistance and compatibility with winches, clutches and other fittings. Ask us about the certification documentation and sizes available for your chosen line.

Synthetic lifelines

We also offer synthetic lifelines with compression terminals or spliced terminations, depending on the customer’s requirements. The line and termination system are selected for compatibility with the yacht, stanchions and attachment points, taking account of the intended use and applicable requirements.
