We regularly install new masts and standing rigging on Lagoon, Fountaine Pajot and Excess catamarans, as well as Beneteau, Bavaria, Hanse and other yachts. Our commissioning work includes mast installation, rigging setup and final tuning.

We also supply Selden and Sparcraft masts, booms, spinnaker poles, whisker poles and bowsprits, selected to match your yacht and sailing requirements. Whether you are replacing an existing spar or planning an upgrade, we can discuss suitable options for your boat, sail plan and deck layout.

Spar removal with the vessel afloat

We can remove and install spars while the vessel remains in the water. We plan the lifting arrangements and access around the yacht’s location and the requirements of the job.

Once the mast is out, we move it using our dedicated mast trailers. This allows us to transport the mast to an indoor space for the planned rigging and spar work.

Assessing your rig

Replacement planning starts with the existing rig, attachment details and intended sailing programme. We assess equipment requirements and discuss related work, including mast handling, furling system compatibility and tuning.
